Accessibility + Live Mixdown

This workshop, hosted by Chris McCarron, is Talking Accessibility and asks the audience to participate in a series of experiments during a live mixing session featuring new systems and theories that are improving access to live music for fans who suffer from hearing impairment, loss or deafness.

Professor Barry C Smith, founder of CenSes, at the Institute of Philosophy, University of London believes the gamification of learning processes creates new immersive environments for further study and innovation, while Natalie Barker of Musical Vibrations and Jacob Adams from Attitude Is Everything will share their experience of working with venues, artists and audiences from the D/deaf community to discover the real and lasting impact on mental health and wellbeing throughout the creative community.
