Q&A with Moda:

Moda sponsored the acoustic stage at Resonate, providing a unique platform for artists. Can you share your perspective on the importance of supporting live music events, and how Moda's involvement aligns with the company's values?

Moda has championed the local live music scene particularly in the last 2 years where we have started the Moda Sessions (an acoustic live set set up in our space monthly) where we usually would have a touring act with a local young artist to support. We believe its very important to support the creative sector in any city we inhabit.

Resonate is a Scottish music conference that brings together diverse talents. How did Moda engage with the local music community and what impact do you believe this collaboration had on both the artists and the audience?

Again, we really want to support the creative sector with the work we have already done with Glasgow School of Art and now with Resonate we want our name to be part of the creative conversation and going forward we hope to have more young artists play in our spaces in a safe and welcome environment.

As a sponsor of the acoustic stage, Moda likely had the opportunity to witness various performances. Are there any particular artists or moments that stood out to you during the event, and how does Moda see its role in promoting emerging talents?

We loved all the acts, Lil being a standout, obviously recognisable with her work on X Factor but her new Pop direction was amazing. Hopefully we can host her a small acoustic tour of all our Moda Neighbourhoods in the future.

Beyond the music, Resonate also serves as a networking hub for professionals in the industry. How did Moda leverage its sponsorship to connect with the music community and build relationships within the Scottish music scene?

We met so many like minded folk at Resonate this year and with spaces that can host a variety of events - talks, screenings, acoustic shows and even podcasts we hope see all these new relationships to be fruitful heading into 2024.

Given Moda's commitment to creating vibrant living spaces, how does the partnership with Resonate and the acoustic stage sponsorship reflect Moda's broader dedication to enhancing communities and fostering creativity?

We hope to work with Resonate closely through the next 12 months and as our community grows in the City Center, we hope we can add some branches to what is already a match made in heaven with Moda/Resonate
