Alex Mitchell (Boomy

Alex Jae Mitchell is the founder and CEO of Boomy Corporation (boomy.com), developing music automation technologies using artificial intelligence. Mitchell is a serial music entrepreneur who previously founded Audiokite Research, the leading market research platform for independent music. Mitchell has worked with a number of music and media brands in consulting and advisory capacities, including Artiphon, Shady Records / Goliath Artists, DotBC/Verifi Media, Reflex Group, Krantz Media Group, Infinite Album, Riff, and others.

Alex Brees (UnHurd)

Alex Brees is a Trading Analyst turned marketeer. After cutting his teeth in the tech world for a number of start-ups, he decided to combine his love for music with his ability to translate data into clear marketing strategy. He joined Universal Music as an analyst within Global Insight working on projects for the likes of Katy Perry, Andrea Bocelli, Bastille and more. Whilst at Universal Music, Alex launched un:hurd, a bespoke, data-first marketing service for emerging artists and indie labels. un:hurd has now gone on to work with the likes of Warner Music, Ministry of Sound, Fraser T Smith, SAINt JHN and many more. More recently, Alex and un:hurd have developed the agency concept into a tech product which will allow artists to run data-driven music marketing campaigns across the digital landscape within one app.

Cory Sims (CES Advisr)

Cory Sims has lived and breathed nearly every aspect of the music business for the last fifteen years and counting, from performing and running a venue to complex music deals involving gaming and sync. His leadership and expertise span artist management, music technology, and licensing with proven success in business development.

After cutting his teeth as an artist and manager, touring the world with the band Bronze Radio Return, and running a popular event space in Hartford, CT, Sims joined HFA in 2017 and was part of Rumblefish’s business development team. There, he worked on traditional and non-traditional digital licensing deals for various DSPs, gaming, karaoke,  licensing deals.  

In 2019, Sims founded a boutique consulting and advisory firm, CES ADVISR, working with a portfolio of forward-thinking companies at the intersection of AI and music technology. His work spans business development, licensing, product management and development, and strategic partnerships, giving him well-rounded experience in an ever-changing global landscape

Benji Rogers (Lark 42 / Verifi Media)

Benji Rogers is a British-born, New York-based, entrepreneur, technologist, and is the co-founder of multiple companies including Lark42, Verifi.Media, Radiary Creations & PledgeMusic the first direct-to-fan music platform to acquire 4.5mm users and 50k artists as its then CEO. PledgeMusic was listed in Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list in 2015.

Straddling the worlds of technology and music, Rogers sits on the board of and advises a range of tech and music companies on how to bridge the divide between their industries. Benji has been recognized on the Billboard 40 Under 40 list and Awarded Digital Executive of the Year.
