Once again we’re opening our inboxes and inviting musicians to apply to play for this year’s Resonate Live slots. Although the live landscape is unrecognisable at the moment, we are intend on supporting live events where it’s safe to do so. This year we have 4 slots which will be recorded live in our wonderful host venue - Barras Art & Design Centre. Due to availability, live performances will be recorded on either Monday 2/9/16 of November so applicants should keep that mind when submitting music.

Performance;

Due to the ongoing Covid19 crisis, we are unfortunately unable to host an event where a live audience can attend safely. We have made the decision that all performances will be recorded on one of the dates mentioned above and the live event will be broadcast as part of our Resonate Online event on Thursday 26th November. Resonate will pay artists a fee which will be divulged after the lineup has been finalised. The selected lineup will have the choice to have their performance audio recorded for releasing on digital streaming platforms. Resonate will cover costs of mixing & mastering.

The Selection Process;

As with previous years, the final line up is selected by an impartial panel of judges made up of pioneering music professionals working in Scotland & beyond. Successful applicants will be notified by email no later than Friday 23rd October.

Applications;

Applicants must reside in Scotland [or have members who reside in Scotland]. Please submit any information you feel is important and one audio track only. We will open submissions on Monday 5th October at 5pm and close on Monday 19th October at 5pm. Applicants should be 14+ and submissions should be directed to info@resonatescot.co.uk
