Another Monday, another Resonate Artist Of The Week and boy do we have a belter this week. Since 2018, we’ve all been excited to hear new material from hot Scottish trio Cloth. Included in Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio 1 Top Tips for 2019, Cloth’s most recent release ‘Old Bear’ out on Last Night From Glasgow (to no surprise) received high critical acclaim.

Like a delicacy, the music of Cloth is somewhat ‘angular’ yet endearing and undoubtably engrossing. It’s an utter pleasure to get lost in - it’s minimal whilst feeling so full bodied. Well timed electronic intricacies add another level of warmth - particularly in tracks like Tripp and Old Bear. A recent sold out show in London no doubt show’s the incredible buzz circulating this Scottish trio. Upcoming shows in Glasgow both in March and May are sure to sell out so make sure you grab tickets and avoid disappoint.

For you who are more inclined to a heavier electro sound, be sure to check out one of the UK’s hottest producer’s Wuh Oh’s remix of ‘Tripp’.

Upcoming shows include two dates in May at Glasgow’s Glad Cafe. Details of the shows can be found on Facebook right here
